Bubble bag is a packaging material processed by bubble film, mainly used to protect fragile products, electronic products and so on. The process of making bubble bag mainly includes bubble film production, cutting, sealing and other steps.
1. Bubble bag production process
Step 1: Produce bubble film
First of all, you need to use the bubble film machine to produce bubble film, the specific process is as follows:
Raw material preparation:
It mainly uses low-density polyethylene (LDPE), which can be partially recycled or functional masterbatches (such as antistatic agents).
Extrusion molding:
Plastic particles are heated and melted by a screw extruder and extruded into a film.
Bubble forming:
The bubble structure is formed by the vacuum adsorption roller to make the film shape.
Cooling and winding:
After cooling by water or air cooling, it is rolled into a large roll of bubble film.
The second step: cutting processing
Expand the bubble film:
Place large roll of bubble film on cutting machine to unfold.
Cut:
Cut into different specifications according to demand, such as common 10cm × 15cm, 20cm × 30cm and so on.
Manual cutting machines or automatic cutting equipment can be used to increase efficiency.
Step 3: Seal it
Heat sealing:
Use a heat sealing machine (ultrasonic sealing machine or high temperature pressing machine) to seal the edge, so that the two layers of bubble film firmly bonded to form a bag.
Can choose three side sealing, two sides sealing and other different sealing methods.
Custom processing (optional) :
Add anti-static agent: Used for packaging electronic products.
Printed LOGO: Use screen printing or inkjet printing.
Sealing strip: such as self-sealing strip, viscose seal, improve sealing performance.

3. Precautions
✅ Choose the right film material: Use different materials for different applications (ordinary/anti-static/moisture-proof).
✅ Control sealing temperature: high temperature may lead to melting, too low sealing is not firm.
✅ Keep the tension even: prevent cutting deformation, affecting the appearance and quality of the bag.
✅ Regular maintenance of equipment: ensure cutting and sealing accuracy, improve the qualified rate of finished products.
